Besides love what does a rose symbolize?

red rose?

white rose?

yellow rose?

Besides love what does a rose symbolize?
all symbolize death
Reply:Red roses mean, love triumphant true love, passion, and longing. Yellow roses mean I'm sorry or friendship, pink roses mean love hopeful, and white roses are usually either funeral flowers or bridal flowers (weird, huh%26gt;?)
Reply:Serious, a rose is a symbol for the female vulva. The feminin. Woman. Red would be "pregnancy", white, "Sex"...
Reply:A red rose is a symbol of the international socialist party.
Reply:I guess it could symbolize what ever you want, just depends on who it's recieved from and for what reason.

If every year your Dad bought you Blue Roses for your B-day then thats what you would associate Blue roses with. So it's all personal.
Reply:I could be wrong. Red rose is love. White rose, death of a loved one. Yellow hope.
Reply:red rose - passion/romance

white rose - interest

yellow rose - friendship

but it could mean anything depending on the person. a man's wife may love yellow roses and feel romantic when he buys he those.
Reply:Red Rose

This one is the most obvious. It means "I love you." It represents romance and love.

Yellow Rose

A yellow rose symbolizes friendship and caring. It's the perfect innocent gift to give to a friend or give to a loved one when you simply want to say "I care". When given to a friend it also means "I'm happy with our friendship."

White Rose

A white rose symbolizes innocence and purity. It is also the rose color for theta phi alpha sorority (my ex gf used to be one)
Reply:red -- love

yellow -- friendship

white -- purity
Reply:women in general, the thorns the pedals, all of a woman's complexities captured in a beuatiful flower.
Reply:Besides love, the rose is a symbol of the Goddess figure (including Mary in Christianity). White is for her maiden aspect, red for her in general, yellow for the joy of her gifts.
