Rose-Hulman or Purdue??

I've been accepted to both and I have visited both and loved both. My parents are pushing Purdue because it's cheaper but I love the size of Rose. I'm planning on majoring in Biomedical Engineering and both schools have amazing programs. If you go to one or know anything about them, which one do you think I should go to?

Rose-Hulman or Purdue??
Actually, Rose-Hulman is much more prestigious. It is the number one undergraduate engineering school in the nation, even better than Purdue. I think it depends on what you want, Terre Haute is a small town and Rose-Hulman is a small school so maybe that is the type of college experience you are looking for. However, West Lafayette and Purdue are both very large and there are more opportunities available at larger schools. One good thing about Rose-Hulman is that it there are many colleges close by i.e. Indiana State, Indiana University etc. So, even though Rose-Hulman is a smaller school there is still a lot to do socially and Terre Haute is a pretty good college town. If money is really an issue, go to Purdue. However, if money is not an issue and you like Rose-Hulman than definitely go there because you will get an amazing education and it is very good for Biomedical engineering. Good Luck!!
Reply:I hope you take a better look at this - Purdue is much more prestigious than Rose-Hulman which pretty much no one has heard of outside of Indiana. Report It
Reply:I'm with your folks on this one. At the Bachelor's level, considering the quality of both schools, you have greater opportunities at Purdue and cost really is a factor - ask any graduate paying off school loans.

Did you know that Purdue has produced more astronauts than any other college? NASA and the rest of the brainy parts of government love that place.
Reply:Purdue--it's MUCH more prestigious. I've never even heard of Rose-Hulman.
