Jalen Rose?

who else thinks that the Suns signing Jalen Rose was a waste of millions and the worse move i've seen them make in recent years?



well to me it is a their worst move with the exception of trading joe johnson for boris diaw had he stayed the suns would have a title already

he was bought out of his New York contract, and signed with Phoenix for the veterans minimum, which is less than 1 mil. he was a steal!



then again, a total waste of his year. he would have been much better utulized on basically ANY team that would put him out there.



but, his contract is up. and he can go wherever he feels free to. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about him. I know he isn't a franchise player. but he can be the 6th man that can help elevate a team to a championship level, much like Stackhouse did for Dallas.
Reply:don't forget that the knicks bought out jalen's salary, and the suns only pay him 1.5M, which isn't so bad for a proven vet. he just didn't get PT in the season, which isn't totally his fault. The Banks deal (about 3.5 per) is much much worse
Reply:Don't forget the signing of Marcus Banks for millions last summer. They'll feel the financial strain once they're due for new contracts.
