Metal Rose Arch from Argos?

Anyone got one of these http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores...

If so, are they sturdy enough - would you recommend or not?

Thanks

Metal Rose Arch from Argos?
Argos products are flimsy..I would get one from a garden centre.
Reply:depends how long you want it to last, they're plastic coated steel, they're flimsy and don't last long.
Reply:My neighbour had one for years - yes..
Reply:Yes and they are brilliant once the roses are entwined through it.

Pin it down until next season, give the roses a chance. I planted 2 red on one side and an orange and a white on the other. This is now their 3 year and the roses are all intertwined and a real asset into the garden.
Reply:My Mum has one, it has lasted a year and now its going all out of shape!

Its a bit flimsy so if you want it for short term thats great, but if you want something longer lasting I wouldnt bother!

Although if you have a QD store near you they have the same ones in for £9.99

Good Luck!
Reply:It just depends on what you plant near them. There a good price but I planted clematis and it grew like crazy eventually with the weight of the growth it collapsed on one side. Eventually I managed to repair with piping rather than cut back the clematis.....
Reply:i don,t know how much they cost but for well under it why not design and build you,r own the cost will be less and it will give you a sense of achievement then every time you walk under it you can think i built this unless you have a real bad urge to give argos your money their not difficult to build and it will be a lot sturdier
Reply:we used to sell this at Past Times and must say we never had any back , hope that helps !
