Ask with a rose?

There is this guy that Im really into and vise versa. @ my school, sadies is coming up and i was planning on surprising him with a rose and a note on it asking him to go with me. the problem is -- i have no idea what to put on the note. I want the phrase to be cute, maybe rhyme, or maybe something involving a rose or a flower or something. i need help...

Ask with a rose?
A rose might not be the best route, let him give you the roses! Do something really cute! Go back to the elementary school and write him a note with the check boxes. As far as a little gift goes get him his absolute favorite candy or an inside joke thing. Have fun at the dance! Good luck, althought im sure he will say yes!
Reply:Don't use the rose for asking him out, what you should do is ask him if he has feelings for you, and hand him a rose. after he takes the rose you go "Aww, is that for me, i always knew you would be so romantic and ask me out with a rose and a kiss, so how about that kiss" this is confuse him, but the thing is, could he refuse giving you that rose and kissing you.

Reply:OK first off give him a white rose, it means a new beginning, tell him that the rose is a start for the two of you, and you would love to fill it with color, red for passion, and yellow for friendship. With this rose you want to take him to the dance, and see where it goes from there!

You can use your own words to tell him about how you feel but the important thing is getting the relationship started.
Reply:"roses are red, violets are blue" something with that, and put in his backpack while hes not looking.
