How would you recommend? Oven, low heat? I'm not drying them for potpourri, so I'm not that concerned with losing the scent/oils. I found a craft on a site where you take dried rose petals and cover a notebook with them at http://www.craftbits.com/viewProject.do?... So does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. =)
Drying rose petals?
I'd use silica gel powder. That way you keep the color. Baking or air drying will cause them to go brown.
Reply:Put them between pages of a book and set something heavy on them, or use a flower press, put the petals on plain white paper several layers and put heavy books on them. Or you can buy silca gel at the craft store and you layer them with the silca gel and it pulls out the water
Reply:i spread them all over the house and air dry them. makes beautiful potpouri.
