Reply:I hate to say it, but red roses are very, VERY cliché. If you want to show her you really love her, you have to get her something very specific to her. For example, lets say she's always wanted to go for a ride in a hot air balloon... well there you go; go and organise a trip in a hot air balloon so she can experience it and know that you care about her so much that you'd organise it. You have to look at the person she is, find what will make her happiest on her birthday, and do that for her. It's her birthday, and the focus of the day should be her happiness, not how much you love her - it's just a pleasant side effect that if you make her super happy, she'll know the love is there.



Also, I don't think you want to send her the signal that you can't live without her... that's a very dependant kind of situation to be in, and most girls I've had experiences with don't want a guy who's going to need them *that* badly. Yep, feel free to let her know that she is constantly brightening up your day... but don't make her think your life would be hell if she wasn't there. She's just a part of your life, not the whole thing. =) Good luck!

Reply:First, try telling her how much you love her. Then forget the red rose. Find out what her favourite flower is and give her a dozen of those. I like roses, but they're not creative. My fave is a purple iris. Giving a girl the flowers she loves best shows that not only do you care about her and love her, it shows you've actually PAID ATTENTION to who she is.



Of course, if red roses are her favourite, then go for it. :-)
Reply:Don't start saying crazy things like that to a girl. You're going to creep her out. Saying you love her, if it is true, is nice, but all this "I can't live without her" talk is just over the top. It gets girls nervous that you'd do something stupid if she wants to break up with you.



Treat her with respect if you want her to feel you love her. Be a good listener. Respect her limits. Be a gentleman, but also don't treat her like she can't do anything. Ask for her advice on things she has more experience than you with. Try hard to place her feelings and needs at least equal with your own. If you really love her, eventually her feelings and needs will come before your own.



If you love her, she will know and it won't take flowers, jewelry, or anything like that. She will just know.



For her birthday gift, just listen to her. Women have a great way of letting you know what they want if you know how to listen properly.
