why do rose bushes turn black and the leaves fall off? they are in the sun and they get watered with the sprinklers? so why are they turning black and why are the leaves falling off?????????

it's a fungus. The leaves will eventually turn yellow also. Water your roses only at root level. Letting water dry on the leaves promotes this. If it is just a few leaves pluck them off so it does not spread. If it has already spread, you can get a spray designed just for this issue at any nursery or the garden section of any hardware store or super store
