Rose hair trantula has cut on belly, is this the molting stage or just a cut?

My friend has a rose hair trantula, it got loose for a while and she found it back with a cut on its belly. Is this part of the molting stage or is it a cut? Will it live?

i thinik it could be a cut that she got while she was loose.
Reply:My friend had the same problem and she didn't figure it out until she took it to a small animal vet, I feel so bad I can't give more info. or can't help! Hope the little guy is o.k.! TOODLES!

P.S. get it checked out ASAP!
Reply:it live it

i am a spider vet
Reply:I have no real clue without looking at it. I do know that tarantulas, in general, are on the fragile side. I would call around to area vets and see if there is anyone knowledgeable about spiders and if there is anyone willing to look at it. Honestly, it may only be a case of "time will tell." Spiders do get hurt..and they do heal.
