Rose Tyler on Dr Who tonight: thoughts?

Anyone watch tonight's Dr Who? Anyone have any theories on how and why Rose Tyler appeared at the end of the episode? Wasn't she stuck in the other parallel universe?

Hmm...interesting, wasn't it? She seriously doesn't look happy. Evidently there's been a way found to cross the dimensions again - perhaps the last remaining member of the Cult of Skaro has found a way to free his troops from the void, and in doing so, punched a way through to the other universe. Perhaps Rose is working under duress, to slowly lure the Doctor into a trap or gain information on him for them.

Reply:I think it might have something to do with what happened in Torchwood. When Cardiff was blown up in the last episode, it might have created a rift, which allowed Rose to come back. x
Reply:don't know but she didn't look very happy at all can't wait till next weeks episode now !!
Reply:I think she know the doctor is heading for trouble has obviously come through a time loop and think later in series doctor is dying and she comes with Martha to save him that is what I think.

I liked Donna they have taken it back to when an assistant was just an assistant and not a romantic interest lo
Reply:On the behind the scenes prog on BBC 3 after Dr Who Russell T Davies was not willing to share any reason about why or what Rose is there or what she is going to be doing , he says we have to wait.



The only clue to it is in the Radio times they hint that during Donna's storyline Rose or someone who we thought was stuck in a parralel place will come back to help Donna out of trouble !!



I would give up trying to guess as it just makes your head hurt .
Reply:there must be another rift between the universes, must be something to do with her working for parallel torchwood.
Reply:yeah, when donna was talking i was like "oh, just a normal blonde girl" and when she turned around i shivered! i was like "OMG!" I mean i knew she was coming back but i thought we would first see her in episode 11 but i didnt know we would get a glimpse of her in the first ep!!



im sure its about her working for torchwood. all these new inventions and stuff, lol. i thought she'd go off looking for the doctor (cos she went the wrong way - always happens lol) but when she disappeared...lol, i thought she was trapped on earth or something lol but obviously not...



and her face....it was obvious she was there waiting for the doctor and when she couldnt find him she looked so sad...but i guess we've gotta give donna a chance! if only companions would share the doctor... (thou i know i wouldnt!!!)



but its in the scripts that later on a convo is:

rose: "i've missed you"

doctor: "i've missed you too"

*little smile*

cos if i remember rightly it says that the doctors on the ground...hope evrythings ok...lol
Reply:i think rose is in trouble and is looking for the doctor brilliant episode i had goose bumps when i saw rose!
Reply:by the look on her face, it is something tragic. people are talking about the rift, but she obviously has complete control of herself disappearing.

I just found this on wikipedia, a very small synopsis for episode eleven: Donna's life, family and world are devastated and not even the Doctor can save her, but a girl once thought lost forever in a parallel universe can help.
Reply:k my theories kinda random but i rekon dalek carn built another void ship nd went 2 the other universe 2 find davros hu definately comes bak bt is ded in ths univers thn rose is using the cyba technology 2 follow the void ship bak 2 the doctor nd she faded like the 'ghosts' did at the end of series 2 nd she was sad cos the doctor seems 2 b movin on cos of martha nd donna bt rose hasnt got ova him bt it wnt b rite cos i hav no reason 4 it 2 b but id laf if it was rite
Reply:something to do with a temporal rift disturbance caused by Captain John Hart using his Time Agency Watch.

Either that or

something is happening in the other dimension.

Reply:Well she dint look very happy so there must be something going on other wise she would of ran up to the Doctor and gave him a big hug. I'm guessing it has something to do with The Dalek's
Reply:rose Tyler is returning to doctor who later in the series to help the doctor battle the daleks when she joins Martha and Donna onboard the tardis
Reply:i think shes looking for the doctor- things on the other side of the rift might not be going smoothly and the explotion in torchwood may have let her come back to this side
