Would the Pacers have beaten the Bulls with Jalen Rose?

In the 1998 NBA Eastern Conference Finals: Jalen Rose was suspended for Game 5 because he went to the scorers table during a scuffle in game 4, which the commissioner defined as leaving the bench to join in on an altercation. Do you think they would have suspended the entire team.. had they all got up? (my opinion, doubtful). The Pacers ended up losing game 5 by 19 points. Jalen Rose was averaging 25 points over the first 3 games. So, would the Pacers would have won by 6, had Jalen Rose been playing? While I believe that Jordan and the Bulls were one of the best teams ever. I think 1998 the Pacers were a better team.. Rik Smits, Mark Jackson, Jalen Rose, Reggie Miller, Dale Davis.. an all star line up. I still wonder to this day what would have happened if Rose had been allowed to play. Do the Pacers win game 5 and go on to win game 6 at home.. they actually won game six at home and lost to Chicago in game seven by 4 or 5 points.

Damn....great question. And the thing is, Jalen Rose could straight up PLAY back in those days.....



That being said, I would have to say, no....I don't think Indiana would have beaten the Bulls. Maybe they would've won that Game 5, but Chicago would've found some way to close out the series. I mean, we're talking MJ here. Money would've found a way....
Reply:no,u cant just add the points jalen rose was averaging because he would have to take shots away from someone else to get his 25 pts. the pacers lineup better? i dont think so. think longley,rodman,pippen,jordan and harper. longley and smits would cancel out. rodman gets all the rebounds,davis get nothing. miller can't get free from pippen. jalen gets schooled by mj. jackson cant post up harper. how were they the better team?



btw,as long as players stay on the bench area,regardless of whether they stand up or not,they won't be reprimanded. jalen rose left the bench area,not the bench alone,and that's why he got suspended,that's automatic.
