Rose OFFICIALLY set to return to Dr Who in a 3-companion season 4?

It's now been officially released. Rose Tyler is set to return in the 4th season of Dr Who. Thoughts? And more importantly, how do you think they'll bring her back? Any story ideas folks?

I have to say I'm pretty shocked about that. It makes me think that the press rumour about 6 or 7 Doctor Who companions (i.e. Donna, Martha, Rose, Captain Jack, Mickey, Sarah Jane and K9) appearing in next years series finale might be true, and if so it could well turn out to be a big mistake, unless the story line is written very cleverly indeed.



If it's just Donna, Martha and Rose with the Doctor then it will probably be OK, but with Rose comes her family and Mickey, and already you can see that the story could become crowded with too many characters..



What worries me is how "School Reunion" turned out. Admittedly it was a pretty good story with a couple of great iconic Doctor Who moments, but I couldn't help thinking it seemed a bit rushed and that the novelty factor overshadowed the story somewhat. So, if that was a rushed and overshadowed story with Rose, Mickey, Sarah Jane and K9, what will next years finale be like if that rumour is true? I dread to think.



Anyway, lets just say that this bit of news worries me.



As to how they bring her back - two possibilities:-



1. The Doctor finds a way to get through to the parallel Earth in the Tardis, without destroying the Universe (made possible by the return of the Time Lords - wishful thinking).



2. The alternate Torchwood on the parallel world, find a way to send Rose through to our Universe on a temporary basis.



The latter option appeals to me more, because that would mean it would just be Rose without the hangers on.



Edit: A third possibility just occurred to me, which could be absolutley great. A multiple Doctor story. The 10th Doctor with companions Martha and Donna meet the ninth Doctor with Rose. Mind you Rose's initial reaction to the regeneration in the 2005 CIN special would take a bit of explaining away if she had already met the 10th Doctor.

It is rumoured that Davros could return in series 4, and that all the compainions will fight him.



As we all know Davros is the creator of the Daleks, and the millions of daleks are trapped in the void, I think that davros could find a way of bringing back the daleks from the void, which hence could bring back rose and everyone else who went through, this would mean though the cybermen could return, but you know, the writers can make up anything lol.
Reply:I recon she will return as a ghost with the Tardis or some kind of dream monster. It will look like Rose, but not totally be her. The Doctor will have to choose between living a lie with her or accepting she is not real and going back to being without her.

But after more thought...

Maybe they will bring her in from a earlier timeline?

Or bring her in to kill her properly?
