Rose at the end of titanic?

at the end of titanic is rose supposed to be dead in her bed and then her spirit joins jack back on the boat , or is it just her dreaming

I don't think its made clear by the film itself...I think they wanted the viewer to make their own mind up. I, myself believe she dies and joins jack.

Hence she changes her name from Rose Culvert to Rose Dawson.



At the end of the flick, she joins with the spirit.
