Rose coming back to Doctor Who?

I heard she's coming back for three episodes. Personally I think this is the worst news in the history of the world and the mere thought of a reunion has ruined my life. How many people actually think this is a good idea?

Yes, Rose is returning!



I never really liked Rose as much as Martha Jones or even Donna in the New Series.

I'm tied between Rose and Sarah Jane. Then martha. Then Donna. But that doesn't mean I don't love them all because I do. And that's only the new series companions. I haven't completely delved into Classic who yet.



I don't know about it being a good idea. I think that if done properly, the three episode arc could be fantastic or if not, it would be just horrible but that's the same with any story arc.



And I do love Rose. I want the Doctor and Rose to have some closure so that's why I'm looking forward to their reunion.
Reply:If the episodes are done correctly, I think it is great news. I loved Rose and I cried on her final episode but I also grew to love Martha and wish she didn't leave at the end of Season 3. I am looking forward to Martha being on Torchwood and I am not that wild about Donna being the new assistant but Rose is still tops in my book next to Sarah Jane Smith-I am old school
Reply:I'd actually be interested in Rose and Jack coming face to face given what happened on Satelite Five. We can assume Rose remembers now, given a comment she made, and Jack knows since the Doctor explained it in Utopia. I have a feeling things might be slightly awkward.



Martha would give Rose the cold shoulder and be short with her, I think. Rose might be clueless for a while before catching on and seeing the threat, then being short right back. Odd neither of them ever see Jack as a threat - the Doctor flirts more with him than Martha.



My idea Rose back to Doctor Who would actually be Rose helping the Doctor, but never seeing him face to face and disappearing before he realises she's actually there. The Doctor would be crushed, but Rose thinks it's for the better. He wants to go after her but someone (maybe Donna) talks him out of it, or he actually accepts her decision. So basically, Rose is back, but no reunion.
