I adopted a rose hair from someone who couldn't take care of her anymore. She is by far the most interesting pet I've ever had. I was nervouse holding her the first few times but she's never bitten me, and we hang out great! I gave her a great new habitat with eco soil, a cork bark hut, vines and leaves... but I'm not familar with the diet. I got a gut load cricket drink that says tarantulas can drink from it aswell... but I don't see her drinking... and of the dozen crickets I put in her cage, she doesn't seem to have eaten a single one.
Is she getting ready to molt? Am I doing something wrong? She's moving around and seems happy, but I want to make sure I'm taking care of her right!
Rose haired tarantula?
we used to put just a few crickets in at a time with no problem, in the water dish we put a sponge in so she could suck up the water, they do not eat very often we fed ours about once or twice a week and she was quite happy, we rarely saw the spider drink but it needs to be there as she will drink, they do tend to go off food when they are due to she but she may have had enough to eat, place some grass or kale leaves in so the crickets can eat , she will eat when she is hungry, but only put a few in at a time, sounds like you are having fun with her, best of luck honey
