Reply:I wouldn't so much worry about the color- pick any image you like, and tell the artist to do it in black, and it will come out fine! There's a million regular color roses like red, purple, etc so even if you can't find it in black it'll be easy to just change!
Reply:google rose tattoos and many wil pop up just get whatever design you like any color and just have the artist use the colors you want yo dont have to find a black rose tatt so they can use the same color
Reply:Seriously... go to google images - they have nice pics/ drawing / photos of the rose you might be looking for.

Then - just let the tattoo artist now, that you want it in BLACK!

Hope that helps~
Reply:My first tattoo, was a black rose. I got it covered up 6 yrs later, with a much bigger, and brighter one. Tattoo's are naturally going to fade, and with you starting out black, it won't look nearly as good ten yrs later. Check out http://www.tattoojohnny.com/
Reply:That's a really old-school tattoo design (very popular in the sixties) and any tattooist should be able to fix you up.
Reply:Is this supposed to be a stencil (def: a small scale tattoo, usally done in black %26amp; white) or to symbolize something (its actual meaning is mourning/death)? I always use Google images. The reason I ask is because your question has a double meaning.
