Who rose quicker to superstardom Madonna or Britney?

I will just go ahead and say I am the one who said Britney did.

Just hear me out.

I am NOT saying "who has better talent" - in my opinion thats Madonna.

I am NOT saying "who will be around longer" - also in my opinion thats Madonna

I am NOT saying "who do you like better?" - thats Madonna by a long shot as I can't stand Britney's songs...(Toxic is good but thats it)



BUT what I am saying is, in my opinion she came out of nowhere to stardom much faster than Madonna did. In fact I remember Madonna being around as a B-list star for a little bit before she broke out.



So in your opinion, and once again this is not "who is better" but, who rose to superstardom quicker? Maybe I'm wrong?

Britney Spears - Madonna earned her stardom by toiling in poverty and obscurity before making it big.

Reply:Definately Britney Spears, she just boomed on to the charts faster than she had babies!!! she was soooo young as well, Madonna on the other hand had more of a struggle to stardom, basically she didn't just appear all of a sudden in a school uniform raking in the big bucks, I hope poor Brit gets back on track!

Reply:I see your point, it is true because brittney was probally just in the mickey mouse club and probally something else and she did come out fast when madona was comeing out but not that strong but she did come out lol. But then again no in days it seems like its more easier for everyone to come out, especially if they get noticed fast or try to. The thing is just about anybody can become famous atleast for a minute.
