Desert Rose?

We have a desert rose, have had it for a few years now. It's very healthy, long green stems with nice green leaves, but it has never flowered! Is there something else we have to do to it to get it to bloom? It's sitting in a room where it gets indirect sunlight, but the room is nice and sunny most of the day.

Desert Rose?
Roses like to have some food once in a while in order to bloom. Look for a fertilizer with the words "rose food" in the title. Roses also do need a bit of direct sunlight every day in order to bloom. They will survive in bright light but probably not bloom. Good luck!
Reply:a desert rose is not a real rose it is a succulent and needs to have a dry spell to initiate blooming

4-6 hour of direct sun Report It
Reply:It needs direct sunlight. Better to put it outside when the weather is warm. And give it flowering/rose fertilizer.
