Can I put a Floyd Rose tremolo on my Fender Strat (Mexican made) without doing any woodwork?? if not how much might it cost for a professional to do it for me?? Thanks!
Floyd Rose Trem on my Strat?
Your Strat will need to be modified for the Floyd system. The system extends back towards the tail and some routing must be done so the tremelo will work. It wouldn't be hard to do, if you have some woodworking experience and want to refinish the part that gets routered.
Reply:im not so sure about installing a new floyd rose, but you can buy pretty much the same guitar(fender mexican standard hss strat) but with a floyd rose in it.
