My fiance bought me a potted plant for mothers day. It just says "double rose tulips". It doesn't tell me how to take care of it and where I can keep it. I would like to know if it's just an indoor plant or if I should transplant it and how to care for it. It's growing out towards the sides and I was wondering if I should tie them closer together? Please help! Thank you! I don't know much about gardening yet.
Double Rose Tulips??
When they finish blooming, take the bulbs out of the pot, brush off the dirt with your hands and store them in a cool dark area in a paper bag. In the fall, plant the bulbs 4-5inches in the ground ( sunny area) plant them fairly close together (about 3inches apart, they like company, say if you have 6 bulbs, plant in groups of 3's) water them (should only have to do this once). Wait for spring for the blooms.
