Rose or Poppy?

Im going to name my daughter either Rose or Poppy, which is a more suitable name for a little girl?

Rose or Poppy?
I like them both but I think Rose is my favourite.
Reply:Poppy and Rose are really common around here (West Country).

Maybe try another more unsual flower name......Peony lol

Have you heard the rhyme, Virginty is like a Rose, one Prick and its gone???

Maybe go with Poppy and then they only get teased about Drugs.
Reply:Rose.

Unless you have a longer version for Poppy and just use this as a nickname. The longer name can be used when she is more mature... because a 42 year old Poppy just isn't sitting well in my stomach.
Reply:Definitely like Rose!

Rose Erin

Rose Madeline

Rose Elizabeth

also like Morgan Rose
Reply:Poppy, No please dont do that to your child.

What made you come up with Poppy??

How about

Poni Rose

Rosalyn Payeli

Rosian Piliana

Anything but Poppy!!!
Reply:Evelyn Rose
Reply:I like Poppy.

Actually I think Poppy Rose sounds kind of pretty!(depending on your last name!)

Good luck!
Reply:Poppy...
Reply:Poppy! Its sooo cute what about naming her Poppy Rose? But yes Poppy is adorable :)
Reply:ROSE! Poppy is what some kids call their grandfather.

Violet or Lily is cute, too.
Reply:POPPY FOR SURE!!

ROSE IS FOR AN OLD LADY BUT OK FOR A MIDDLE NAME.

ROSIE WOULD BE BETTER.
Reply:Rose, she is going to grow up and Poppy is very... mouse-ish.
Reply:Poppy! It's much more uncommon then Rose.
Reply:well i don't really like either but i choose poppy over rose
Reply:poppy is more of a dog name :)

i go with Rose :)
