Many church folks claim that Jesus rose into the sky and became a god.
But wasn't there a god already there?
What? Yes, the god that Jesus was praying to, when he used to pray in the synagogue. Yes, that's right --
So let's say Jesus did rise into the sky and became a god -- what do the church folks figure the god that was already there did when Jesus arrived?
.
If Jesus rose into the sky and became a god, what did the one that was already there do?
The one that was already there was Moses' god. I imagine he was not amused when Jesus came along. A little awkward, I myself don't give a holy crap.
Reply:tch, ya got things screwed up. Jesus is God. Jesus was praying to God the Father. He's always been God and always will be.
Reply:Jesus went to heaven as a spirit creature 40 days after his initial resurrection, there to sit at God's right hand, until the next part of His plan would take place.
"...‘Jehovah said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet.’" --Luke 20:36
Jesus never was. nor ever desired or intended to become God, to be worshipped. He is NEVER called ALMighty God in Scripture, although he is called 'Mighty God'. He is God's first creation, %26amp; through him God created every thing %26amp; every one else:
"He [Christ] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him." --Colossians 1:15,16
The Almighty God Jehovah %26amp; His son Christ Jesus have never had a problem regarding their relationship. It is only people who insist that they are to one another what they never have been --nor ever will be-- that have a problem--that of accepting them for who they Really Are.

The idea that Jesus was God is impossible, for that would have left mankind in MUCH DEEPER DEBT from the sacrice of his life! No...
He was put on earth as a Perfect Human Man, who gave his life to buy back Perfect Human Life for those who were born into the sinful condition of 'missing the mark of perfection':

Reply:The Savior YAHOSHUA was already Almighty. 1 cor. 10:4 tells us that He is the one who led the Israelites in the desert. Read the book. He welcomed Him. There are two thrones, and the two Almighty's are Echad. Not unity.
Reply:He didnt become A god.
He is THE God.
God is in heaven, Jesus came down to earth.
Like pieces of an apple, the skin, the core, and the juicy part. All one apple.
There is the trinity: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.
God is the Father, Jesus is the Son, and i believe that if you accept Christ, that the Holy Spirit is in your life.
Jesus came to be an example for others here on earth.
The believers knew, they listened to what Jesus said and understood this.
Reply:Jesus IS God! (John Chapter 10) read it. He is not "a god", He is The Second Person of The Holy Triune GodHead. %26lt;')))%26gt;%26lt;
Reply:Where does it say that he rose into the sky and became a god? Not in the standard Bibles
[eg KJV, RSV, NIV, NASV,JB]. So which Bible are you using - Mormon, JW?
Reply:He didn't become a god. He went home.
Reply:He was first QUARANTINED.
Reply:Jesus did not BECOME a god.Jesus Christ has always been God.Jesus Christ came to earth as a man.
One God is 3.God the Father/Son/Holy Ghost
One egg is 3,shell/yoke/white
Time is 3,past/present/future

Reply:jesus was god manifest in the flesh.
Reply:Jesus Did not Became God, He IS God. Think of it as Became one with God.
