Rose not doing well?

I have jus bought a rose in a pot and put it outside at a corner where it is exposed to sunlight. Half of it is doing well but the other side is dropping its leaves and buds dropping. I try to water more frequently and the dropping buds respond well but the leaves are still shedding. This side which is not stable are more exposed to sunlight, is it because it has been exposed to too much sunlight? I intend to put more soil but it is in flowering stage, will it do more harm if i repot at this stage? I live in a flat in Singapore.

Rose not doing well?
Usually, roses don't mind sunlight too much.

Don't give too much water but make sure the soil is moist.

Add some compost once a week.

Make sure the plant is not in a draughty place!

Don't repot while the rose is in bloom!
Reply:thanks for the points!
Reply:Too much water-water only when soil is slightly dry to the touch. And mulch and feed the rose
